Delicious fried chicken! We split a chicken and an order of okra, and it was ample for 2 people. If you are looking for fine dining, this is NOT the place, but if you just want good food you're in luck. No plates and no need for forks because it's all about eating with your fingers... plenty of napkins available! No idea about dessert or anything else they may serve, and personally, I am not at all a fan of the Styrofoam drink cups, but the chicken and okra definitely rate 5 stars!
Was great chicken, they bring in a paper basket hot and crispy. You have paper sheets for plates and we requested plastic forks. The taste of the food made it worth using fingers. Would recommend you go at least once if you haven't already. Just passing through, it's a must, just to say you've eaten at Eischen's.
I do wish they had sweet tea.
Please people, don't buy into the hype. This place has good chicken, I will give them that but $14.00 worth? Plus $1.50 for a canned soda. I'm sorry that's too much. Also I saw no sign or warning that they only accepted Cash or check. They did offer their ATM in the corner, but I wish they made an effort to tell their customer about this particular detail before you order. Overall, not a place to go by yourself. I may have had a different experience with a group but I still believe their prices are too high for what little they serve.
Hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. As good as any cast iron chicken I’ve ever tried.
Great atmosphere and some of the best fired chicken I've ever had. If that's what you crave then it's worth the trip out there to try it. Simple menu but their claim to fame is rightfully deserved. They accept cash or check only, so have either ready at checkout.
